35th Annual MESSIAH Sing-In
Community Concert at Shawnee Playhouse

For 35 years, the Messiah has been a joyous Shawnee tradition, a unique presentation in which the audience joins in the singing.Terry Flatt, conductor, Ginny Kirkwood ,vocal coordinator and producer and  Betsy Buzzelli-Clarke, orchestra coordinator lead talented vocalists and a live orchestral ensemble in one of history’s most famous musical works.

Sing along with your friends and neighbors as we raise our voices in Handel’s immortal masterpiece.  Each audience member receives a musical score and is invited to join in singing the choral parts.

With a roaring fire in the fireplace and the fellowship of the local community, this is an event that contributes in a very special way to the joy of the season.

No tickets are required, but an $8.00 donation is requested at the door for the orchestra and to keep our scores in good condition.  Seating is on a first come, first served basis, doors open at 7:30.
