What is the difference between “Headline” and “Feature” shows? Our Headline shows are usually a larger cast and musical. Our Feature shows are usually smaller casts and non-musical. Headline shows are our “Broadway” shows, and Feature shows are our “Off Broadway”!

Information for Families Attending Shows at The Shawnee Playhouse

Tickets must be purchased for children two years old and over to see a Children's Theatre show, whether or not they sit in their own seat. Children under two years old who sit on an adult’s lap do not require a ticket purchase.

Tickets must be purchased for children four years old and over to see a Headline/Feature show, whether or not they sit in their own seat. Children under four years old who sit on an adult’s lap do not require a ticket purchase.

If you have a child that becomes unhappy during a production, we ask that out of respect for the performers and other patrons that you remove your child from the audience until they have calmed down and are ready to watch the show again.
